Now in our 2nd year, the FC Abbey Meads Football Festival takes place over 2 weekends in June, 7th & 8th and 14th & 15th. Our tournament is officially FA Sanctioned.
For our first weekend, we welcome boys (and mixed teams) from U7/U8/U9/U10/U11/U12 and U13 age groups (all from the 2024/25 season). The second weekend is about girls football as we also welcome teams in the U7, U8, U9, U10, U11, U12 and U13 age groups (season 2024/25).
Each tournament sees 20 teams (except U7 and U8) in 4 divisions of 5 teams each, with quarter finals, semi-finals and then a grand final. All games take place on our amazing 3G pitch and are 8 minutes long. There are trophies for the winning team plus medals for the runners up. For the U7 and U8 categories, there will be 10 teams in each tournament and all U7 teams will receive a medal of participation at the end with the U8 winners receiving trophies and runners up medals.

The Moredon Sporting Hub was opened in June 2024 after a £6m redevelopment. As a partner club, all of our team training and home matches take place here on the 3G pitch and grass pitches.
With onsite café, changing rooms and plenty of parking, we have the space to cater for plenty of teams across the 2 weekends!
